Evia is a registered Social Worker (AASW) member, an NDIS behaviour Support practitioner, a public health practitioner, and a trained Journalist. Evia has a Bachelor of Science in, Mass Communication, Master of Business Administration in Communication and Public Relations, Diploma of Community Services, Certificate IV in Disability. Evia has counselling and training certificates in Management for Development, Peace Building and Conflict Resolution. Evia has undergone training for Adult Intellectual Disability Mental Health Program with Project Echo, and Positive behaviour support with Monash University. Evia is a Proficient NDIS Behaviour support practitioner and has worked with a variety of clients including Adult and young people. She has experience working with clients including people with vision and hearing impairment, people with drug and substance abuse, Autism, schizophrenia, dementia, OCD, anxiety, and depression. Before becoming a Behaviour Support Practitioner, she has worked as a disability support worker for over 3years. Evia has built a wealth of certifications and experiences over the years. She has been practicing humanitarian services for over 7 years, working with People Living with HIV/AIDS and People with Disability. Evia is passionate about working and advocating for those with special needs, particularly the older members of the community.
